This Monday night saw almost 100 folks from our region’s Screen industry come together at the Hub for a golden opportunity to hear from Andrew Mason, Executive Producer of ‘Boy Swallows Universe’. Andrew shared his entire process - including book rights acquisition, planning, casting, production, post production and more - of how he took Trent Dalton’s bestselling story and turned it into a successful show (in multiple countries) on Netflix. Sunshine Coast Screen Collective’s Livia Hanich (Post Producer on Boy Swallows Universe) led an engaging, interactive conversation to tease out all the gold nuggets from Andrew, for our region’s Film & TV professionals. What a fantastic opportunity for our growing Screen industry, to learn from one of the best in the business!
