ProductTank Sunshine Coast is back at the Hub on Wednesday 16 September, with a question that is turning up everywhere: what happens to product design and engineering when anyone can build a working version of an idea?
Sandra Arato, a senior software engineer at Canva, will talk about designers shipping code, engineers taking a closer interest in research, and the higher standard this puts on the things teams choose to make.
AI can produce a prototype quickly. That does not decide whether the idea is useful, whether people understand it, or whether it belongs in a product. Those are still hard questions. They now turn up earlier.
ProductTank is for people who work on products, regardless of job title. Designers, researchers, engineers, marketers, founders and managers are all welcome.
