Collection notice

The Peregian Digital Hub is operated by Noosa Shire Council. This notice applies when the Hub collects your personal information, including through forms on this website, registration and payment pages, event bookings, and forms hosted by third-party services such as Google Forms.

Noosa Shire Council will only use the personal information collected for the intended purpose, to process your registration, application, booking or expression of interest, to remain in contact with you regarding the program, event or service you have registered for or enquired about, and for the legitimate functions and services of Council. Council is authorised to collect this information in accordance with the Local Government Act 2009 and associated laws.

Access to your personal information will only be provided to appropriate Council employees and authorised officers. Your personal information will only be disclosed to authorised third parties if required to deliver the program, event or service, or if required to do so by law.

Some forms and payments are handled by third-party providers, including Google (Google Forms) and Stripe (payments). These providers collect your information directly and may store or transfer it outside of Australia, including to the United States.

If you do not provide your personal information, we may not be able to process your registration, application, booking or enquiry.

Your personal information is handled in accordance with Council's Privacy Policy, which contains details on how to request access to your personal information and how to complain if you believe there has been a breach of the Queensland Privacy Principles in the Information Privacy Act 2009 (Qld).
