Peregian Digital Hub is the headquarters for technology innovation, AI and digital creativity on the Sunshine Coast. A collaborative workspace for 120 tech builders with a world-class AI Lab, video and podcasting studios, flexible collaboration spaces and 80-seat auditorium.

This is a Noosa Council traineeship placement. You'll complete a Certificate III in Business or Certificate III in Information Technology alongside your day-to-day role at the Hub.

Day-to-Day

A typical week in the life

Here's a snapshot of what your week might look like alongside your traineeship coursework.

Monday
  • Replenish supplies, coordinate garden maintenance, set up event space for the Screen Collective meetup, onboard a new Hub member, help a member with a studio recording.
Tuesday
  • Early access for maintenance contractors, credit card reconciliations, handle goods receipts, cook a sausage sizzle for a Hub event, improve the Hub's AI customer service agent.
Wednesday
  • Edit and upload AI workshop recordings to YouTube, create purchase orders, set up A/V for the weekly AI Cadetship program, troubleshoot member tech issues.
Thursday
  • Arrange catering, book the podcast studio for members, update digital signage, build an AI agent for slideshows, set up for the Reboot Noosa meetup.
Friday
  • Prepare and send invoices, attend the weekly Hub lunch, collate RSVPs for upcoming events, prepare monthly membership reports, help a member set up AI tools.
